Profile
The International Office is a service and information facility for all university members. It includes the coordination of incoming and outgoing mobility. This includes support and advice for international full-time students as well as the exchange of students, lecturers and staff coming to RWU or going abroad from RWU. In addition, the International Office contributes to the internationalization of the university.
Our tasks include:
- Supporting international students and guests
- Advising RWU students who intend to study abroad
- Participation in the conclusion of cooperation and partnership agreements with international universities
- Advising faculties on internationalization
- International marketing measures
- Awarding scholarships to international and German students

Unsere Aufgaben
Das International Office kümmert sich um die Koordination der Incoming und Outgoing Mobilität. Dazu zählt die Betreuung und Beratung der internationalen Vollzeitstudierenden sowie der Austausch von Studierenden, Dozierenden und Mitarbeitern die an die RWU kommen oder von dort ins Ausland gehen. Darüber hinaus trägt das International Office zur Internationalisierung der Hochschule bei.
Zu unseren Aufgaben gehören:
- Betreuung von internationalen Studierenden und Gästen
- Beratung von Studierenden der RWU, die einen Auslandsaufenthalt beabsichtigen
- Mitwirkung beim Abschluss von Kooperations- und Partnerschaftsabkommen mit internationalen Hochschulen
- Beratung von Fakultäten zur Internationalisierung
- Internationale Marketingmaßnahmen
- Vergabe von Stipendien an internationale und deutsche Studierende

Going Abroad
Experiences abroad are a highlight in every resume and almost indispensable for a professional career nowadays. They strengthen the personality, convey intercultural competence, create international networks and broaden the horizon in every respect. Mobility abroad can be integrated into studies in various ways: as a study abroad program, internship abroad, summer school or in connection with the final thesis.

International Students
Numerous students from all over the world study at RWU. Both our exchange students and regular degree-seeking students can choose from a wide range of courses in English and German.
RWU offers five English-language degree programs:
- Bachelor's degree program Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
- Bachelor's degree program Electromobility and Renewable Energies
- Bachelor's degree program Physical Engineering
- Master's degree program Electrical Engineering
- Master's degree program Mechatronics
The International Office supports international students in their integration at the university location and offers numerous services for this purpose.
