Individualise your studies
Of course, you can personalise your studies individually according to your wishes - for example, through stays abroad, internship semesters or language courses that you can take advantage of with us. Discover the opportunities that studying at RWU offers you and let yourself be inspired. We will be happy to accompany you on your way to a successful degree and give you valuable tips for a successful time at RWU.
Stays abroad
If you would like to gain international experience during your studies at RWU, a study abroad program or an internship abroad is a good option. This gives you the opportunity to spend one or two semesters at a university outside Germany. You can either study as an exchange student at one of our partner universities or look for a suitable university on your own as a free mover.

Practical semester
During the practical semester, you can gain practical experience in your future profession and apply and expand your theoretical knowledge in practice. During the internship semester, you will work in a company or organization, where you will take on projects and provide support in day-to-day business. The internship semester also offers you the opportunity to network and make valuable contacts. You can work with experienced professionals in your field and gain valuable insights into the world of work. This can be an advantage when looking for a job later on.
Every year in November, RWU organizes career days take place in November. More than 120 companies and institutions present themselves at the career days. This gives you the opportunity to find companies or institutions for your future internship semester.
Language offers
At RWU, you can expect a wide range of interdisciplinary courses in the areas of foreign languages and intercultural competence. In addition to Professional English as a compulsory subject, you have the opportunity to take other languages as electives. We also offer seminars on intercultural communication as electives.

University sports
The university sports offer takes place in cooperation with the PH Weingarten and is organized by the PH. On the PH sports grounds with indoor swimming pool, gym, gymnastics hall, tennis courts and stadium behind the RWU main building, in the so-called Töbele, general university sports take place from Monday to Thursday from 6.00 pm to 10.30 pm. The activities on offer range from aerobics to soccer, karate, swimming and yoga. The instructors are students themselves and around 40% of students at both universities take advantage of the free offer.
All information and current changes can be found on the PH website for the subject Sports. University sport starts approx. 2 weeks after the start of lectures at RWU, as the PH starts its lectures later than RWU.

RWU University is located on a pedestrianized campus in Weingarten. To make it easier to find your way around, each building has its own letter abbreviation.

Laboratories
The RWU campus is home to numerous laboratories in a wide variety of areas. Starting with the CAD Automation Lab, the Didactics Center and the GROW Lab through to the Systems Engineering Lab. Here you can try out a variety of techniques and become active yourself.

Canteen
The canteen is operated by Seezeit and is located at the Doggenriedstraße stop, between the Didactics Center in Building K and Building V.
The daily changing menu for lunch is varied. There are also snack vending machines and a selection of organic and fair trade coffee specialties.

University library
The Weingarten University Library supports students at RWU and Weingarten University of Education in their research, teaching and studies. The university library is located in the Fruchtkasten building at Kirchplatz 2.

My Campus
My Campus is the heart of student management and offers a central portal for students and prospective students. Here, students can view and edit their personal data, register for the next semester, download important certificates and digitally submit applications such as semester off or de-registration. It is also possible to apply for a different degree program.

LSF
LSF is the digital portal for organizing your studies. In addition to My Campus, it offers students a wide range of functions such as the allocation of courses, the SPO, access to the transcript of records and registration for examinations. In addition, students as well as lecturers and staff can access timetables and room plans via LSF.

Moodle
