Housing
Living during your studies
Studying marks the beginning of a new phase in life. For many, this also means moving to a new city and into their first own four walls. Most students at RWU live in Weingarten, Ravensburg and the surrounding area. Some students who come from the region stay at home and commute to the university. Which form of housing you ultimately choose - shared apartment, your own four walls or a room in a student dormitory - depends on your individual wishes and needs but also on your financial situation.
Private housing market
In order to find an inexpensive room or apartment, it is advisable to start looking early. Below are a few tips on where students can find their rooms:
online portals
Daily and weekly newspapers
bulletin boards
- bulletin boards in the foyer of the RWU main building
- bulletin boards in student residences
Living in the dormitory
For students, the two student unions Seezeit Bodensee and White Rose offer inexpensive rooms in Weingarten and Ravensburg. Since dormitory places are in demand and are not sufficient for all students, it is advisable to apply early for a room in one of the dormitories.
