Profile
In the CAD and FEM lab, you will be trained on state-of-the-art product development tools. You will learn leading CAD tools such as CREO (PTC), CATIA (Dassault Systems) and NX(Siemens). Furthermore, software systems for the finite element method (FEM) are available for practical training. Designs can be realized immediately on a 3-D printer. All hardware has recently been renewed. The laboratory is used intensively to carry out project work and final theses.
Through a current research project, modern tools for virtual and augmented reality will soon be available.
Equipment
The CAD and FEM laboratory has 29 modern workstations with powerful graphics card, a 3D printer and a Din-A0 printer.
All leading CAD programs and a professional FEM program are available.
