What exactly is the Social Work Practice Office responsible for?

The Practice Office

  • advises and supports social work students with all questions and concerns relating to internships (practical semester, module 17 and internship during studies, module 27 according to the new SPO), which must be completed during the course of studies

  • is responsible on behalf of the university for approving the contracts with the internships and recognizing the internship

  • organizes the accompanying events within modules 17 and 27

  • advises and supervises the respective internships

Aufgaben

Das Praxisamt

  • berät und unterstützt Studierende im Studiengang Soziale Arbeit bei allen Fragen und Anliegen rund um die Praktika, die während des Studiums abgeleistet werden müssen (Praktisches Studiensemester, Modul 17 und Studienbegleitendes Praktikum, Modul 27)
  • ist im Auftrag der Hochschule für die Genehmigung der Praktikums- und Zielvereinbarung mit den Praxisstellen und die Anerkennung des Praktikums verantwortlich
  • führt Informationsveranstaltungen zu den Praktika durch
  • organisiert die Begleitveranstaltungen innerhalb der Module 17 und 27
  • hält Kontakt zu den Praxisstellen
  • ist Anlaufstelle bei Fragen und Anliegen aus der Praxis
  • führt Veranstaltungen für Praxisanleitende durch
