The B.Sc. in Business Psychology is a combined psychology and business degree program with a high scientific standard. Psychological and economic content are balanced. In addition, students learn about and apply practice-relevant research methods in psychology.
- Business administration: project, process and quality management, corporate management, marketing and HR/HR
- Psychology: general psychology, social psychology, differential psychology, diagnostics, health psychology, work & organizational psychology, market & consumer psychology
- Empirical methodological skills: statistics, study planning & implementation, quantitative & qualitative data analysis, data evaluation & processing
CAREER & PERSPECTIVE
Business psychologists help companies to consistently align their business models and working practices with the needs of the respective target group.
Graduates are broadly positioned and versatile for a career in business. Primary job profiles are in the areas of HR, marketing and consulting. Their psychological expertise provides added value in dealing with many current economic challenges - examples include dealing with skills shortages, the introduction of flexible and digital working models and the promotion of health, motivation, diversity, gender equality and sustainable practices. Due to the strong focus on methods, the professional field of psychological research is also an option.
An advanced Master's degree, such as the Business Administration and Entrepreneurship course, opens up the possibility of further specialization and sharpening one's own profile.

Curriculum
With practical relevance, career orientation and freedom of choice, we give you a profile that employers want
In the first study phase, the course teaches basic business, psychological and methodological knowledge as well as English language skills suitable for a career in business.
The second study phase begins in the fourth semester. In the area of business administration, students can specialize in one of four specializations. They often choose Human Resources Management or Marketing/Sales. In psychology, the focus is on the two applied fields of work and organizational psychology and market and consumer psychology. In methods courses, students learn how to work with real business psychology data sets in a playful way. Students also carry out small empirical research projects independently.
Students gain their first practical experience in the practical semester, which is scheduled for the 6th semester. The Bachelor's thesis, which deals empirically with an entrepreneurial issue, is often written together with a company and concludes the course.

[(average grade of the higher education entrance qualification)+(grades German, mathematics * 2 and continued modern foreign language)/4] / 2
If there are more applicants than places, 90 % of the places are allocated by the selection procedure (best overall grade) and 10 % of the places are allocated according to waiting time.

Places are again allocated according to the ranking list, i.e. first to those with the best overall grade.
