Study Information Day 2024

Get to know RWU personally

On November 20, RWU Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences held its Study Information Day. Hundreds of pupils came to the RWU campus in Weingarten on this day to find out about the university's range of courses and to meet the people involved in person.

The program included workshops, taster lectures, lab tours, course presentations and much more. "Here I can ask specific questions again," says pupil Linn Hennekeuser from Zurich, describing the motivation for her visit to RWU and the added value compared to researching on the web or on social media.

"Our subjects have nice-sounding names, but the purpose of the Study Info Day is to explain what we actually do," says Moritz Haag, research assistant in Information Systems, summarizing the aim of the event. The Vice-Rector for Didactics, Digitalization and University Communication, Professor Dr Heidi Reichle, adds: "We want to show students what RWU is like in person and we want to help them identify their strengths and weaknesses."
