Children's morning at RWU

On October 29, RWU Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences held its second University Children's Morning. The children of employees, students and professors were invited to discover where their mothers or fathers work and study. Almost 50 children accompanied their parents to RWU on this day.

The program included insights into various laboratories at the university and a lecture for children and parents. The children were able to attend a lecture and take a look at the Formula Student Team's racing car. At the end, parents and children went to lunch together with those responsible for the family-friendly university.

RWU has been certified as a family-friendly university since 2015. This enables a good balance between studying or working and various family responsibilities. This includes offers such as

• Advice for students who have children or care for relatives

• Events and lectures on compatibility, care issues, children
• Emergency folder
• Changing tables, quiet rooms, play areas on campus
