Compulsory events and presentation of institutions and initiatives
Wednesday, October 9
On Wednesday, October 9, the Day of Institutions and Initiatives will take place. On this day, from 10:30 a.m. to 13:00 p.m., student initiatives and institutions at RWU, such as the Central Student Advisory Office, the Formula Student Team or the Seezeit Student Union, will present themselves in the foyer of the main building.
RWU thrives on student participation. A large number of student initiatives have therefore been set up to help shape the university. Through their involvement, students have better career opportunities and the chance to think outside the box. Studies by the state of Baden-Württemberg also show that students who are involved at university are more likely to successfully complete their studies.
Some important compulsory events also take place on this day.
- the introduction to the examination system by Prof. Dr. Mauser
- the lecture on occupational health and safety and fire safety at the university by Mr. Ries
Guided tours of the Didactics Centre and the library
Guided tours of the Didactics Center take place alongside the compulsory courses. This is located in Building K. Here you can get an insight into the learning café, try out VR and test our green screen in the film studio. You will also find out about support services for starting your studies.
In addition to the guided tours of the Didactics Centre, there will also be guided tours of the university library.
