Marc Weindel studied business administration at the University of Mannheim and at the University of Wales in Swansea, UK. After his studies, he completed his doctorate at the University of Mannheim on a topic of accounting in accordance with IFRS and HGB and worked there as a research assistant at the Chair of General Business Administration and Auditing. He then worked at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG in Heidelberg, where he was Head of the Accounting Principles Department from 2009 to 2022. Marc Weindel has been Professor of Accounting and Business Law at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences since 2022.
