Prof. Dr. Andreas Pufall

Dr. Andreas Pufall has been Professor of Production Engineering and Optimization as well as Technology Management at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences and Head of the Steinbeis Transfer Center for Production and Product Development since 2014. After completing his studies and doctorate in engineering, he worked in various companies in the field of production automation and optimization. This was followed by an international position as project and technology manager at a high-tech company. In this role, he was significantly involved in the identification and evaluation of new technologies and their implementation in new products and production processes. His research on topics relating to the optimization and digitalization of technical systems is carried out in close cooperation with regional companies. He works as a lecturer, consultant, author and keynote speaker.
